Seems like I'm always caught in the middle

So Ricardo has been on my case about going to the LA Zoo with him because he's never been to a zoo and he loves animals. So I finally got the day off for tomorrow, which by the way is my first day off in a month, so I could finally go to the zoo with him. Now, yesterday my mom comes to me and says I NEED YOU FOR VOLLEYBALL ON WEDS! I'd already told her I'm going to the zoo and then today she tells Ricardo that he has to wait.

Getting a day off is a dream come true so if Ricardo has to wait for my next day off that could be quite a while from now.

So if I don't go to the zoo he's going to be sad and if I don't ref the volleyball game I'll never hear the end of it. So either way I lose and it's not fair.

And my mom just bitched at me about how it's always about what I want and how I'm a spoiled brat and never do anything to help other people. It really freakin' sucks. I mean I already cancelled my teams practice so I can go to the zoo and now she wants me to ref. Total freakin' unfairness.

I HATE BEING IN THE MIDDLE!

I can't wait until I'm 18 and free.

Then I can get my license.

And my mom won't have any say in anything.
